Different methods allow us to calculate loads on components or complete products. These loads comprise deformations, stresses, energies, noises, damage, failures, contact behaviour, vibration behaviour, balance considerations, heat conductance and other aspects caused by different types of linear or non-linear loads.

Numerous factors must be taken into account for calculations. In addition to different load types such as mechanical variables and environmental conditions, a decisive role is also played by load intensity, short and fast or long load duration and load type, such as thermal or vibration loads. A precise knowledge of materials is also required. TECOSIM has many years’ extensive experience in structure simulation and has particularly specialised in calculation and simulation of mechanical and thermal loads.
