Company matters: new TECOSIM organisational structure
Alternative drive systems, autonomous driving and networking are just three of the many challenges which the automotive sector needs to face now and in the future. TECOSIM is reshaping its organisational structure in Germany, so that it can continue to act effectively and provide a rapid, flexible, expert response to customer requests.
Different centres of excellence for future technologies are being brought together in the new, cross-location department of Business Development.
Formerly General Manager in Cologne, Mark Gevers will take on the role of Director Business Development in the new department and become responsible for alternative drive concepts and autonomous driving worldwide. He also takes over responsibility for the global expansion of the TEC|BENCH product brand. Previously the Stuttgart General Manager, Bernd-Ulrich Hapke is now Managing Director at Accelerated Innovation GmbH. This start-up offers international industrial clients a fully digitised process chain with its platform, which ensures that product development times and costs are reduced dramatically. Accelerated Innovation is also developing software, including controllers for railway vehicles. The company was founded in cooperation with Cassini Systems Europe GmbH, Intec International GmbH and TECOSIM parent company mind venture AG in late 2018. As Director Business Development, Bernd-Ulrich Hapke is also responsible for building up the TECOSIM services for electromagnetic simulation, system simulation and Industry 4.0.
Clients can continue to count on assistance from their established contact persons locally in the branches: The following are responsible for directing the six German TECOSIM locations as Branch Managers:
Hamburg: Tom Sill Cologne: Wolfgang Dübel Munich: Stefan Baum Neckarsulm and Rüsselsheim: Moritz Conze Stuttgart: Andreas Krieg
Dr Torben Birker and Martin Westerwald continue as Managing Directors at TECOSIM GmbH.
