EuroCarBody has become a tradition where the world's car body construction elite converge on the Hessian town of Bad Nauheim every year with some 550 engineers coming from 24 countries in 2019. As in previous years, TECOSIM attended with its trade fair booth and showcased its method for virtual benchmarking (reverse engineering).
“We use TEC|BENCH to create CAE models based on hardware data in several steps, thus supplying valuable virtual information for vehicle development,” states Mark Gevers, Director Business Development at TECOSIM GmbH. “It can bring significant advantages and speed up the development process. Speed is a decisive competitiveness factor in an era when the industry is undergoing transformation towards new drive concepts.”
The TECOSIM presentation at the EuroCarBody conference centred on its attractively priced, instantly available TEC|BENCH stock models. The e-vehicles that TECOSIM has already recorded virtually and converted into CAE models sparked particularly keen interest. "Depending on objectives, we also recommend tailor-made solutions for specific tasks and needs-based analysis to our customers. We have received excellent feedback from our existing customers on the expertise and time and cost savings they have acquired thanks to TEC|BENCH," says a pleased Gevers.
