TECOSIM continues to focus on client-oriented growth and has set up a new location in the Austrian motor city of Graz. "With this further expansion to our branch network, we are responding to clients' increasing desire to have access to a local presence," explains Dr Torben Birker, Member of the TECOSIM Management Board. The Indian locations in Pune and Bangalore have also acquired new offices to meet increasing demand overall on an international level even more effectively. These larger offices provide 200 workstations in all.
TECOSIM will be offering its time-tested range of virtual engineering services in Graz, the capital of the Austrian state of Styria. Networked with the other TECOSIM locations, numerous specialists are already working on complex projects in Austria with a focus on numerical calculation and simulation for Austrian clients. The aim is to expand this new branch rapidly – we are already planning to have a workforce numbering in the two-digit range by the end of the year.
"Graz is an ideal location for our further growth plans," declares TECOSIM Managing Director Martin Westerwald, explaining the reason behind the expansion. "The heart of Austria's automotive industry offers excellent opportunities. We can hire exceptionally well-trained specialists." The thriving economic region of Graz is not only home to Magna Steyr's company headquarters, but also a location for numerous other companies in different segments in the transport industry.
TECOSIM has been present in Bangalore, India, since 2009. It was joined by the office in Pune in 2013, home to important automotive development centres on the Indian sub-continent.
