TECOSIM supports terre des hommes

Some 4,200 postage stamps from all over the world and €4,200 – that was the yield from an in-house TECOSIM charity campaign. The CAE teams collected stamps for ten months and then presented them to the charitable organisation terre des hommes as a contribution in kind. The stamps are currently being prepared and sold to collectors to generate donation revenue. 'In the age of email and franking machines, we are quite pleased with the stamp donation,' remarks Stephan Stolze, Head of the Donations Department at terre des hommes. In addition to this, TECOSIM also made a monetary donation of €4,200 to this internationally operating charitable organisation – one Euro for each stamp collected.

Company-wide, TECOSIM enlisted the help of ten of its locations in Germany, Great Britain, India and Japan in the 'Stamp collection and donation' campaign. 'We wanted our donations to support projects for children in need,' explains Jürgen Veith, Member of the Excecutive Board of the TECOSIM group. Terre des Hommes draws attention to difficult living conditions for children in developing countries and supports local projects with a focus on children's rights, education, health, nutrition and humanitarian aid.
