Consilium

Consilium is an affiliation of twelve medium-sized companies in the Rhine-Main region. Set up in 2011, the network mainly exists as a forum to exchange ideas between members and discuss real-life management situations. The participants' aim is to learn from each other and coach one another on a reciprocal basis. The network is based on absolute trust as none of the companies is in competition with any other. Ten meetings take place a year, lasting half a day each. Members or external speakers also give motivational lectures regularly. The group's chair rotates on a six-monthly basis.

IHK Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar

Founded in 1862, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar today represents around 70,000 member companies. These companies are based in the district-free city of Darmstadt and the districts of Darmstadt-Dieburg, Gross-Gerau, Bergstrasse and Odenwald. Besides being a member, TECOSIM is also serving on the Foreign Trade Committee.

The Rhein-Main-Neckar automotive cluster comprises a business cluster within the automotive industry in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region. The cluster fosters strategic alliances and numerous cooperative partnerships, and currently features 350 members with TECOSIM among them.

CAE-Forum

The CAE forum is a platform 'created by CAE engineers for CAE engineers'. It allows simulation experts to exchange idea irrespective of their company, branch or solver and promotes cross-disciplinary debates. In addition to on-line communication, the project has also initiated events such as the North German Simulation Forum and regular get-togethers in Hamburg and Stuttgart. TECOSIM supports the CAE Forum as a sponsor.

Carhs

Since 1994 carhs gmbh supports the worldwide automotive industry in vehicle development and training. Focal points are vehicle safety and computer-based simulation. Besides open expert courses, carhs also organizes industry-specific events and conferences as well as customized trainings for individual companies. As a knowledge provider carhs conceptualizes and develops databases for requirements management in the car development.
Since 2007 TECOSIM and carhs are closely cooperating in engineering and training.

Cluster for Lightweight Design

The Cluster for Lightweight Design is aimed at assisting and promoting cross-industrial cooperation in lightweight design technologies. Launched by Landshut University of Applied Sciences in 2002, the network focuses on the key areas of lightweight materials, lightweight structure design and manufacturing technologies. Over 100 enterprises and research institutions collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, thus strengthening the capacity for innovation and competitiveness for all partners, including TECOSIM.

DECHEMA

Since January 2008, TECOSIM has been a member of DECHEMA, the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. Based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, DECHEMA is a non-profit making scientific and technical society founded in 1926 and today has membership of over 5,000, which includes scientists, engineers, organisations and institutions. DECHAMA aims to promote development in chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection and take findings from research and put them to practical use.

Dynardo

TECOSIM and the Weimar-based software and consulting company DYNARDO are setting new standards in software development. The two companies are working together on a joint project to integrate key features in the ST-ORM software into optiSLang.

FAT - Forschungsvereinigung Automobiltechnik

All German car and commercial vehicle manufacturers and numerous suppliers, universities and research institutions have joined forces in the German Research Association of Automotive Technology (FAT). Under the auspices of the VDA, the German Association of the Automotive Industry, members work together on successful, joint, pre-competitive research. Projects are aimed at finding even better solutions to make future mobility safer, more comfortable and more environmentally friendly.

TECOSIM is a member of different FAT working groups, including the "Laminated safety glass" working group. Among other things, this working group acts as a project supervisory committee to monitor a research project for the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations. Undertaken by the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences, the project is entitled "Experimental and numerical studies of windscreens under an impact load to improve pedestrian and occupant safety." TECOSIM provides assistance for the project based on its know-how and experience in this field. Fast Concept Modelling & Simulation GmbH

TECOSIM and Fast Concept Modelling & Simulation GmbH are working together in parametric development. The CONTACT Software subsidiary undertakes business activities in reliability assurance. The range focuses on the CATIA-CAA-based software Fast Concept Modelling (FCM), which provides greater automation in the use of numerical calculation.

NAFEMS

NAFEMS is an independent, not-for-profit body representing users of finite element analysis and related numerical methods. The association comprises 800 member companies and organisations worldwide, including TECOSIM. In addition to publications, EU projects and working groups, NAFEMS organises specialist seminars, congresses and workshops worldwide, including the biennial NAFEMS World Congress.

Strom bewegt - Elektromobilität in Hessen

The state of Hesse sees electric mobility as a central topic in order to relieve cities and regions concerning emissions and traffic. At the same time it has an outstanding research and scientific discovery on the issue. The initiative "Strom bewegt (Electricity Moves) - Electric Mobility Hesse" coordinated all projects. The focus currently is on the application for the federally funded program "Schaufenster (showcase) electric mobility." In selected showcase regions the practicality of electric cars and comprehensive approaches will further explored and taken forward.

Unternehmerverband Südhessen e.V.

With around 330 organised voluntary members, the Unternehmerverband Südhessen e.V. is the regional employers' association based in Darmstadt. This organisation has been helping companies in the metal, electrical, chemical, plastics processing and service industries since 1950. Today, more than 300 companies and organisations with 65,000 employees in all hold membership and benefit from the association's services The association's most important tasks are offering advice and representing members regarding all employment and social legislation matters, showing commitment to social and educational policy issues and promoting members' interests with respect to government, media, administration and the public at large. The employers' association is also involved in numerous projects and initiatives related to employment market, training and educational questions.

German Association of Automotive Industry

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) represents the interests of the entire German automotive industry on a national and international level. In doing so, the association is able to draw on a strong power base since its more than 600 members consist of automotive manufacturers, suppliers and trailer, semi-trailer and bus manufacturers. The VDA is active in all areas of interest to the motor transport sector, such as economic and transport policy, legislation on technology, quality assurance and taxes.
