TECOSIM opens branch in Hamburg focussing on aerospace and wind energy industries
TECOSIM opened a new branch in Hamburg in early April. The development partner and specialist in computer-aided engineering (CAE) will use this new location to coordinate expansion to its aerospace and wind energy business. Operational head of this new TECOSIM location in North Germany is Tom Sill, who previously headed the branch of an engineering services provider specialising in aerospace.
TECOSIM is now set to meet the demand for integral development expertise in aerospace and wind energy thanks to consistent further extension of its portfolio. The opening of its seventh German location allows the company to expand its time-tested virtual engineering service range into these two sectors. Networked with the twelve other TECOSIM locations worldwide, specialists at the new branch handle complex projects with a focus on numerical calculation and simulation.
TECOSIM has managed to attract Tom Sill as General Manager, a CAE engineer with over 15 years' professional experience in the aerospace industry. Before joining TECOSIM, Tom Sill headed the Bremen branch office for an aerospace engineering service provider.
The TECOSIM Munich branch will also be developed into a centre of expertise for aircraft construction alongside Hamburg. TECOSIM intends to expand its new, northernmost branch rapidly over the coming years.
