Crash

In crash simulation TECOSIM performs both impact simulations with complete vehicles and component models under various boundary conditions. We calculate, analyse and animate the energies and deformations occurring during an impact. We apply the 'explicit' FE-method, which is capable of realistically reproducing non-linearities with respect to material performance, large deformations, contacts, materials, etc.  

TECOSIM can simulate all applicable vehicle tests required today in order to comply with legal requirements as well as with the requirements of various consumer associations.
