The CAE-Forum is a platform "from CAE-engineers to CAE-engineers". It enables simulation specialists an intensive exchange - independent of the company, industry sector and solver - and stimulate interdisciplinary discussions. In addition to the online communications, events such as "Norddeutsches Simulationsforum", "Simulations-Stammische" (regular's tables) in Hamburg and Stuttgart were established. Since 2007, TECOSIM and carhs gmbh, the expert for Automotive Safety, have established a strong partnership for their business units Engineering and Training. By combining both CAE teams under the roof of TECOSIM, the company has developed into an even stronger CAE provider with approx. 200 engineers.

The AutomotiveCluster RheinMainNeckar is a cluster or group of inter-related automobile companies, located in the Rhein-Main-Neckar region. With more than 350 members, the organization stands for establishing strategic alliances as well as numerous co-operations. TECOSIM is member of "AutomotiveCluster RheinMainNeckar" and is participating in the processes.

Since January 2008, TECOSIM GmbH is member of DECHEMA (Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology). DECHEMA is a non-profit making scientific and technical society based in Frankfurt Main. It was founded in 1926. Nowadays it has over 5000 private and institutional members. The aim is to promote research and technical advances in the areas of chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection.

TECOSIM and the Weimar-based software and consulting company DYNARDO are setting new standards in software development. The ST-ORM (Stochastic Optimization and Robustness Management) software for conducting stochastic stimulations is being integrated into optiSLang.

MGX Madge Group Associates, located in Detroit, is TECOSIM's Distribution Partner for North America. MGXA is offering automotive consulting services to the industry. That includes a "check and balance" to internal processes, most often speeding critical decision-making with unbiased insights.

NAFEMS is a vendor neutral, non-profit membership association of more than 800 companies, e.g. TECOSIM, from allover the world. The scope of activities spans the original finite element methods through CFD and Optimization. NAFEMs provides the engineering analysis community with information, materials, events, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities.

The state of Hesse sees electric mobility as a central topic in order to relieve cities and regions concerning emissions and traffic. At the same time it has an outstanding research and scientific discovery on the issue. The initiative "Strom bewegt (Electricity Moves) - Electric Mobility Hesse" coordinated all projects. The focus currently is on the application for the federally funded program "Schaufenster (showcase) electric mobility." In selected showcase regions the practicality of electric cars and comprehensive approaches will further explored and taken forward.
TECOSIM supports "Strom bewegt - Electric Mobility Hesse". As a partner the CAE-expert develops ideas for the Hessian application for the "showcase region Rhine-Main."

Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main (University of Applied Sciences): Competence in practical research. The FH FFM was founded in 1971 and offers about 10,000 students practice-oriented study courses: In approx. 50 study programs teaching is connected with exacting applied research and the reality of the labour market.
Within a research-project, TECOSIM cooperates closely with the institute for materials science within the university department of computer and engineering sciences: The partners develop together a method for optimising vehicle seats. The project aim is to increase the crash-safety and the seat-comfort having regard to biomechanic factors.

Hochschule Darmstadt is one of the five biggest practise oriented University of Applied Sciences in Germany. It stands for practise and science oriented teaching and qualifying for profession. TECOSIM offers students internships and the opportunity to write their thesis.

Hochschule Esslingen receives very good marks in rankings of the Centre for Higher Education and in business magazines for its teaching and practice-oriented approach. The high practical orientation is ensured by close cooperation with industry and associations.
TECOSIM works together with the Institute for Applied Research "Energetische Systeme" of Hochschule Esslingen on a research project entitled "Turbine splinter protection for gliding tools". The aim is the development of a high performance, lightweight composite restraint system. TECOSIM also offers students of the faculty "Engineering" internships and topics for their thesis.
