2011

  • Award: TECOSIM receives the “TOP-Innovator” Award and is therefore one of the 100 most innovate medium-sized businesses in Germany. The former prime minister of Baden-Württemberg Lothar Späth presented the award.
  • Commitment: TECOSIM is member in working committee “Ruesselsheim 2020 - sustainability and mobility“. TECOSIM works to make the city of Ruesselsheim as model town and leader for operating and testing future mobility concepts.
  • Expansion: The subsidiaries in Munich and in India move into new extended offices.
  • Remarkable: TECOSIM UK engineers the Olympic Torch for the Summer Olympic Games 2012 in London.

 

2010

  • Growth: In 4th quarter 2010, TECOSIM employs worldwide approx. 300 engineers
  • Opening of TECOSIM office in Ingolstadt, Germany
  • TECOSIM Venture GmbH turns in TECOSIM Venture AG, condition for further growth
  • TECOSIM becomes periodical guest in the working group "modelling of laminated safety glass" of Research Association of Automotive Technology (FAT)/VDA.
  • German Federal Ministry of Education and Research further four TECOSIM projects: Evaluation of failure probability and life circle of globe joints – Axial piston pumps in hydraulic systems – Safety evaluation of vehicles during side impacts – Improvement of pedestrian protection in case of head impact at front shield

 

2009

  • TECOSIM opens a new branch in Bangalore/India. This demonstrates TECOSIM's support to the continous growth of the Indian CAE-market, especially Engineering Services and Consulting.
  • TECOSIM and ForceFive sign Cooperation Contract: TEC|ODM (One Day Meshing) and FCM (Fast Concept Modeller) - Integration and Development of Software Components in CATIA V5
  • German Federal Ministry of Education and Research promotes TECOSIM project: Virtual Product Development / Direct Conversion of Point Cloud Scanning Data into Finite Element Models.

 

2008

  • TECOSIM spins off Operational Business into TECOSIM Technische Simulation GmbH, Administration, Services and IT remain in former Company, which is now operating as TECOSIM Venture GmbH.
  • End of 4th Quarter 2008, TECOSIM employs over 240 engineers, representing more than 26 different nations.
  • Wolfgang Clement, Germany's former economics minister, has presented TECOSIM with the prestigious "Top Job" seal of approval: TECOSIM is one of the 100 best employers among Germany's small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Opening of the first TECOSIM office in Japan, located in Saitama/Tokyo.

 

2007

  • Growth: Number of employees worldwide is now up to 210 (4th quarter 2007).
  • TECOSIM and DYNARDO are setting new standards in software development: ST-ORM (Stochastic Optimization and Robustness Management) software is being integrated into optiSLang.
  • Opening of the new headquarters in Ruesselsheim/Germany. Expansion of the offices in Cologne and Stuttgart.
  • Opening of two TECOSIM offices, located in Munich and Wolfsburg/Germany.

 

2006

  • Korean Market Entry: TECOSIM gains major orders from leading Korean automotive manufacturers.
  • Success in distribution: Kostech and Advance Caliber become TECOSIM-partners for software distribution in Korea and Japan. Madge Group Associates assumes TEC|BENCH distribution activities in the United States.

 

2005

  • TEC|BENCH - Patent application and launch of the virtual benchmarking process.
  • Growth: Number of employees worldwide is now up to 100.
  • Establishing of a dormant partnership: "Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Hessen MBG H" invests in TECOSIM.

 

2004

  • TEC|BENCH - Development start of the virtual benchmarking process.
  • Launch of TEC|ODM (One Day Meshing) and TEC|PROM (Process-Manager).
  • Distribution Contract: IGENIE International Corporation, Tokyo/Japan, becomes TECOSIM-partner for distribution of TECOSIM-Services and Software.

 

2003

  • Development of the first beta version of TEC|ODM (One Day Meshing) and TEC|PROM (Process-Manager).
  • TECOSIM assumes leading role in European ERA-NET working group for car safety, furthermore the company assumes representation of small and medium-sized businesses in FAT/VDA working group for Finite Element-Method (FEM).

 

2002

  • Expansion of the UK office, located in Basildon/Essex.

 

2001

  • TECOSIM starts development of own CAE process software.
  • Expansion of the offices in Leonberg/Stuttgart.

 

2000

  • Establishing of the first UK office in Basildon/Essex.
  • Opening of the second German Office, located in Leonberg, near Stuttgart/Germany.

  • Management Buy Out
  • Dipl.-Ing. Udo Jankowski and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Veith assume management.
